COOKING CLASS AND LUNCH
Come to a charming house with a sunny kitchen and a breathtaking view of the sea! It’s here that you’ll cook succulent dishes using local ingredients from the Côte d’Émeraude (between Mont-Saint-Michel and Cancale). You’ll be welcomed by an American chef turned food writer who has lived in Brittany for over 20 years.
During this experience, you’ll have the opportunity to prepare the traditional recipes of Breton cuisine: savory buckwheat galettes, sweet crêpes and salted butter caramel. Enjoy lunch around a large farm table decorated with Quimper earthenware, accompanied by cider!
OYSTER TASTING
Then set off to discover the oyster beds of Cancale, located in the magnificent bay. Accompanied by a guide who is an expert in this regional culinary specialty, you’ll learn more about oyster farming, from birth to shipping, while discovering the history of the flat oyster. You’ll also have the opportunity to watch oyster farmers at work amidst tractors and boats.
